Day 1 - Spain / Lima
Departure by plane to Lima. Arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel. Free time. Accommodation.
Day 2 - Lima
Breakfast. Visit of Lima, including Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion granted by Francisco Pizarro to one of his captains, and the only house from that era that still belongs to the same family. Then, you'll visit the cathedral next to the Plaza Mayor, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, visit to the Larco Museum, which has a very complete pre-Hispanic collection of gold and silver objects, as well as erotic art pieces. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 3 - Lima / Cusco
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to depart on a flight to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon, we suggest a walking tour through the lively San Blas neighborhood. Accommodation.
Day 4 - Cusco
Breakfast. In the afternoon, visit of Cusco, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour includes the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha, the Plaza de Armas, the cathedral and the nearby Inca ruins of Sacsayhuamán, Quenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 5 - Cusco / Sacred Valley (Full board)
Breakfast. Departure to the town of Chinchero to visit its beautiful 17th-century church and archaeological complex. Continue through the Sacred Valley until reaching the Living Museum of Yucay, an interpretation center of Andean traditions. Lunch. Continue to Ollantaytambo, where we can explore its archaeological complex or tambo. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 - Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu (Full board)
Breakfast. Departure by train to Machu Picchu Pueblo. Arrival and ascent by bus to the sacred citadel of the Incas, Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of Inca engineering and architecture. We'll explore its passageways, ceremonial precincts and terraces. Lunch at Café Inkaterra restaurant. Free time. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 - Machu Picchu / Cusco
Breakfast. Free morning in which we suggest optionally making a second visit to the citadel. Transfer to the train station and departure to Ollantaytambo or Poroy station. Arrival and transfer to Cusco. Accommodation.
Day 8 - Cusco / Lima / Spain
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to depart on return flight to Spain, via Lima. Night on board.
