SRI LANKA HOLY WEEK

Day 1 Spain / Colombo
Departure by flight to Colombo. Overnight on board.
Day 2 Colombo
Arrival in Colombo. Panoramic tour of the city, where you will see the famous port of Pettah, the residential neighborhood of Cinnamon Gardens, Galle Face Green square and Viharamahadevi park. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 3 Colombo / Hiriwaduna / Dambulla / Sigiriya or Habarana
Breakfast. Departure to Hiriwaduna, where you will learn about Sinhalese culture by taking a cultural tour of the village. Continuation to Dambulla, known for its impressive caves decorated with frescoes and Buddhist statues. In total there are 5 caves with 150 statues, highlighting the 14-meter Reclining Buddha. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 Sigiriya or Habarana / Sigiriya Rock / Polonnaruwa / Sigiriya or Habarana
Breakfast. Departure to Sigiriya Rock, also known as the lion rock, a superb fortress built by King Kasyapa in the V century, with its world-famous frescoes of the "Golden Maidens." Continuation to Polonnaruwa, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can observe the ruins of the Royal Palace and the statues of Gal Vihara with the three great Buddhas carved in granite rock. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 Sigiriya or Habarana / Matale / Kandy
Breakfast. Departure to the spice garden of Matale, where you will learn about the processes that make Sri Lanka produce some of the best spices in the world and enjoy a brief Ayurvedic massage. Continuation to Kandy, a beautiful city located on the shores of the lake of the same name. Visit of the temple where a tooth of Buddha is preserved as a relic. You can also appreciate the palace and gardens that share the complex with the temple. You will witness a show of Sinhalese dances. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 Kandy / Nanu Oya / Nuwara Eliya
Breakfast. Transfer to Kandy station to take the train to Nanu Oya, one of the most beautiful scenic routes in the world. Arrival and continuation to a tea factory, where you will observe the entire process and manufacture of tea and enjoy a tasting of authentic Ceylon tea. Departure to Nuwara Eliya, a picturesque village known as "Little England." Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7 Nuwara Eliya / Ella / Yala National Park / Tissamaharama
Breakfast. Transfer to Ella, traveling through the beautiful landscapes of the central highlands. On the way, enjoy views such as the Ravana waterfall and the Nine Arches Bridge. From Ella, transfer to Yala National Park, for a photo safari. This park of 1,295 km² in extension, borders to the north with the Lahugala Elephant Reserve. Its vegetation ranges from dense jungle to open and rocky areas, its abundant lagoons and rivers provide the necessary water for the fauna that inhabits it, with elephants being especially abundant. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8 Tissamaharama / Weligama / Galle / Beruwala
Breakfast. Departure to Weligama, famous coastal city to observe the stilt fishermen. Continuation to the charming city of Galle, to visit the fortress built by the Portuguese during their more than 100 years of domination of the country and other points of interest such as the old hospital and the governor's residence. Transfer to the hotel in Beruwala. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 9 Beruwala / Colombo / Spain
Breakfast. Rest of the day free to enjoy the beach and relax at the hotel. In the evening, transfer to the airport to take the return flight to Spain. Overnight on board.
Day 10 Spain
Arrival.

- The departures on this tour require a minimum group size of 10 passengers. If the selected departure does not reach 10 passengers, a supplement for not forming a group will be applied (please inquire).
- The final price will be reviewed approximately 30 days before departure. Depending on the number of passengers per departure, the total supplement will be modified.
