Day 1 Colombo / Kandy
Arrival in Colombo and transfer by road to Kandy, the last royal capital of Sri Lanka to fall to the British in 1815. Transfer to the hotel in Kandy. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Kandy (Half Board)
Breakfast. Visit the city of Kandy, where we will enjoy a tuk-tuk ride. Stop at the Udawattakele Forest Reserve, famous for its great diversity of birds. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya, one of the most picturesque on the island. In the evening, get ready to enjoy a cultural show. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Kandy / Nuwara Eliya (Half board)
Breakfast. Departure by train to Nuwara Eliya through incredible landscapes of tea plantations. Arrival at Nanu Oya station and continue by car to Nuwara Eliya, which is characterized by its charming colonial atmosphere. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 Nuwara Eliya / Horton Plains / Nuwara Eliya (Half board)
Breakfast. We will take a walk of about 3 hours in Horton Plains, where we will visit Baker's waterfalls, a spectacle of nature. This area is often referred to as “the end of the world”. Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Nuwara / Ella (Half board)
Breakfast. Visit a tea plantation and a factory. We will walk among the hillsides covered with tea bushes and observe the harvesting process. Continue to Ella, where highlights include Adam's Peak, Ella Rock and the Nine Arches Bridge. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 Ella / Colombo (Half Board)
Breakfast. Departure to Colombo, where we will have time to tour the city and enjoy the last shopping. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 Colombo
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport.
