Las Palmas’ charming old quarter, Vegueta, is perfect for exploring. Visitors can climb Santa Ana Cathedral, admire historic architecture and visit the Christopher Columbus museum. A 20-minute drive away, the Caldera de Bandama offers impressive views of a 2,000-year-old volcanic crater.
